Curious, Not Furious

Often times when we do the "deep work" on ourselves and our past, feelings of rage surface. This is a good sign that we are close to the root of what's holding us back. Rather than fueling the past with rage, we will invoke the powerful balm of curiosity, which opens the door to radical compassion. 

Hindsight, Insight, & Foresight

Past cycles of being stuck inform a future of freedom; as we break free from old patterns, thoughts, behaviors, and cycles, we gain wisdom and discernment that shape our future. Trials and triumph are born from the same root word; experiencing trials gives us the gift of resilience which births our triumphs.

Getting Passed Our Past

While we acknowledge and learn from past experiences, we aim to move forward and create positive change. We cannot keep our eyes on the open road of possibiities before us if we're constantly looking in the rear view mirror. We must adjust our gaze to the broad view out the windshield and use the rearview mirrors only as helpful guides. 

Intentional & Nurturing

As we revisit past mistakes we've made or that others have made that affected us, we can become critical, judgmental, and resentful. These are normal feelings that signal a "wrong-doing." To usher in the healing, we must nurture ourselves and these old wounds.

How is coaching different than therapy?

Therapy tends to focus on the past and coaching focuses on the present and the future. Coaching is client-led and goal-oriented.

Where do we meet? 

We meet online, via Zoom. If you are located in the metro-Atlanta area, we could identify a place to meet in person.

How often do we meet?

Coaching is client-led. In general, we begin with a commitment of four sessions with a specific goal in mind. As we progress toward your goals, we continue at a pace that serves you and your desired results.

How do I prepare for coaching?

You come as you are. Most people who come to coaching are stuck. Therefore, the best way to prepare is to journal about what you want to achieve in our coaching engagement.

What is the cost?

I offer hourly sessions at $165 per hour. For packages of six or more sessions, I offer a 15% discount. This requires payment and scheduling upfront.

What if I miss a scheduled session?

I have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel in less than 24 hours, I will charge the credit card on file for 50% of the session fee.
